Stephanie Huerta
Adieb Khadoure Fine Arts is pleased to welcome acclaimed sculptor Stephanie Huerta to our celebrated group of artists. Stephanie’s work is driven by her social consciousness regarding environmental issues, as well as by her love of harmony in nature. Animals are a central theme of her work, and one can clearly see her high regard for them in the anatomical perfection of her sculptures, as well as in the nobility and grace she is able to capture in their stance and expression.
Born and raised in West Nyack, New York, Stephanie graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida, where she received the “Best of Ringling” President's Award. Since graduation, she has freelanced with Universal Studios and Nickelodeon Studios as a sculptor and Chief Scenic Artist and done highly successful commissions for “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” Museum, Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and Sea World. Recently, Stephanie has done commissioned pieces for the Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, and a life-sized sculpture (at the Pioneers' Museum) of the first ex-slave to sit on a jury in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her wide array of work ranges from bas relief portraits for the College Football Hall of Fame, to life-sized horses for the Witte Museum of Texas.
