Suzanne Du Com's Artist Statement:
The Female form is a thing of beauty. Oklahoma artist Suzanne DuCom focuses on the lower extremities of that beauty in a series of paintings that showcases legs.
From a night out on the town with the girls, to getting ready to saddle up for a horseback ride, these unique oil paintings not only showcase the beauty of the female form, but focus on their legs.
Suzanne grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and The University of Central Oklahoma. Suzanne has lived and traveled throughout the United States as well as traveled through Europe. She draws from many of these experiences in her artwork.
Suzanne states, “Painting is my Passion. As a young person I was always interested in art. That interest developed into my love of oil painting. It is always exciting to experience the moment a painting comes to life. One moment it is simply an idea and then with some oil paint and the strokes of a brush it is transformed into art. I enjoy painting many different subjects from traditional landscapes to more modern interpretations. My inspirations come from what is around me and the observations I make”.

| Pei Yang Show On December 16th, 2011 |
|
Pei Yang Show December 16th, 2011 Adieb Khadoure Fine Arts is excited to represent Pei Yang, an artist whose cityscapes, still life compositions, and highly-praised interior scenes have been attracting considerable attention in the gallery. Mr. Yang has been compared to the impressionist masters of the nineteenth century, specifically Paul Cézanne, and yet the artist’s own voice can be clearly discerned in such elements as his ink-like brushstrokes, as well as in details like the blue and white Chinese ceramics that often appear in his interior scenes. The dazzling use of color and enchanting plays of light evident in all his compositions point to an artist of considerable talent and technical accomplishment. Mr. Yang’s paintings have been shown in galleries, government halls, and international film festivals, both in North America and China, since 1989. He was born in Yangzhou, China in 1971 and studied art at the renowned Ottawa School of Art, and then at Algonquin College, also in Ottawa, Canada. Mr. Yang’s first job was as an art director putting his talents into film animation and movie set design. Mr. Yang was one of the team of Emmy Award-winning artists for the TV series Sagwa – The Chinese Siamese Cat, in 2002.
